PRODUCTIVE PROCESS

CASTING PREPARATION
Metal burrs and sharp edges of casting are cleaned up using grinding machines. Oil/Grease etc is cleaned up using special cleaning chemicals to ensure that the casting is free of all impurities and ready to accept coating. There are then sandblasted to create a roug h texture on the surface of the casting to help provide a strong mechanical bond with the coating. Castings are visually inspected to ensure cleanliness and roug hness of the surface.
APPLICATION OF POWDER COATING
Castings are then put in an oven to be heated to + 280 Deg C. Using electrostatic spray guns, the hot castings (min. temperature 210 Deg C) are coated with Epoxy Resin Powder inside and outside creating a film of no less than 250 microns all round. After the casti ng s are comp letely coated, these are then allowed to cool down resulting in formation of a solid layer of Epoxy Film on the entire valve body both interior and exterior.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Inspecting cured valve body to ensure ‘pin hole’ has not occurred. Coating thickness in all round should be verified as min. 250 microns throug h a thickness meter. Using slide caliper to measure flange hole dimension, thickness of flange etc, insure all fig ures conform to relevant standards.
HYDRO TEST
Separately doin g shelI and seal test strict I y in acco rd ance to relative stand ards. Defective products will be reworked or scrapped.
PACKING
The valves are separated in bubble bag before packing horizontally or vertically into the wooden crate. Each valve will be isolated with a piece of cardboard.

Product Description

Even if incident suddenly power failure, the flow meter operation results and user settings will not disappear, EEPROM can protect the set parameters and cumulative value.

BULK WATER METER WPD / WPHD

The bulk water meter WPD / WPHD is used to record high flows in drinking water distribution and in industry, with low pressure loss and a predominantly constant flow profile at the same time.
The meter is equipped with a 6-roller dry dial register (IP68) and a modulator disc. This enables electronic, reaction-free scanning and is the basis for remote reading of the meter data via radio with LoRaWAN^® or wM-Bus. A combined M-Bus / pulse module is also possible.
A mechanical pulser can also be connected in parallel.

ULTRASONIC APARTMENT / DOMESTIC WATER METER

The IUWS ultrasonic water meter guarantees reliable recording of the meter data for individual consumption billing in the residential or domestic water sector.

The IUWS is equipped with a 9-digit LCD display. The integrated radio interface is preset at the factory to wireless M-Bus (OMS) or LoRaWAN^®. If required, this can also be changed at a later date. All variants are approved for any installation and are therefore also available in the usual lengths for riser and downpipe installation. A head-down mounting is also possible. All materials, which are used in the drinking water section, comply with the required standards, guidelines and the
current German drinking water approval (other country-specific drinking water approvals on request).

DIRT FILTER FOR BULK WATER METERS

In cases where difficult water quality is expected, ZENNER provides two different types of filters for improving the water quality.

Large suspended particles and fibrous contamination can disturb the measurement behavior of a bulk water meter and possibly damage the measuring insert.
The dirt filter can filter particles up to 4 or 5 mm out of the water and reliably protects the following measuring device.
